Anne Barkman resides in Steinbach and has a niche practice consisting of Ontario real estate and small/mid-size corporate consultation. Anne combines her past experience as HyLife’s General Counsel and large law firm corporate practice to help local business owners understand the law and to apply it to their business in an effective and cost-efficient manner.

Called to the bar in 2001, Anne has practiced corporate and anti-trust law at Blake Cassels & Graydon LLP (Toronto) and Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (Winnipeg). Anne spent one year working for the Competition Bureau of Canada investigating anti-trust behavior and nine years as General Counsel for the HyLife group.
